So somehow La pâtisserie des rêves never really made it to the blog, although it is one of my favorite pastry shops! The chef is Philippe Coniticini. He is a well known pastry chef. His shops are one of the few shops I actually revisit more than once. I think I mentioned the Paris-Brest that I had tried once, but after that no more? Time for a change, so here is what I tried so far since coming to Paris!

Paris-Brest
Saint-Honoré
Mont-Blanc
Praliné ice cream
Lemon tart
Grand Cru chocolat
Madeleine
I also got to try a small piece of the flan, which has a very intense vanilla flavor! Really good ;)

The last things I tried are the Grand Cru chocolat (the first picture) and the madeleine(picture on Facebook/instagram), the others I have tried a while ago in the period February – June.

<3 the packaging

This is the packaging for a single cake! I love their house style, which is pink and white. They really thought of all the details, like the serviette that is made of some kind of fabric, the stickers, the little pins to keep the cake from moving, etc..

Grand Cru chocolat

The Grand Cru chocolat (~€6) is for the real chocolate lover. It’s chocolate cake with a chocolate crispy layer on the bottom, chocolate ganache, chocolate mousse and a chocolate glaze. If you like chocolate, you will like this! It’s intense chocolate flavor is paired with some sea salt which makes the cake extra interesting to eat and gives you that craving for the next bite.

This is the Saint-Honoré, one of my favorites at the shop! The combination of crispy and cream is just perfect. Flaky puff pastry, choux, pastry cream, crispy caramel, chantilly… Yum.

The right side wasn’t filled perfectly.. : (

This is the tarte au citron (lemon tart).

Inside there is some hazelnut biscuit, lemon confit, of course lemon cream and topped with italian meringue. Just a good lemon tart. : )

This is the mont-blanc. A classic French chestnut pastry which pastry shop Angelina is well known for. So far I have only tried this mont-blanc and one in school. I’m not the biggest fan of this pastry, but one day I will try the one from Angelina. This one I ate somewhere back in February, the main thing I remember is the strong flavor of Armagnac haha.

A couple weekends ago already now, there was a huge pic nic to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the shop! I went there with my friend to check it out. I posted about it here!
